Club Hub – The new app all parents need

Club Hub – The new app all parents need

In July, a brand new phone app is being released in the UK and, if you are a parent, you are definitely going to want this on your smart phone. Club Hub is an app that helps parents find groups and activities that are going on in their local area and, if you run a group, it is a great way to advertise your business too.

Ever since moving to Hampshire I have struggled to find groups for Leo and I to join. I go to a couple of parent and toddler groups and I even brave a weekly bouncy castle hour with Leo at our local leisure centre but I can’t help but think there must be more going on? The Club Hub App would be able to find me lots of new groups and clubs to try with Leo and I will definitely be downloading it once it’s released. I know you can just Google ‘children’s clubs in *your location*’ but sometimes Google can be a bit overwhelming and you really need to know what you’re looking for, with Club Hub all the information is there in one place and easy to find.

Unlike so many other phone apps, Club Hub does not promote more screen time. In fact, the app’s main purpose is to help you get out and about, meet new people and encourage your child to make new friends and spend time learning something new or just having fun doing something they love. So whether it is a dance class, swimming lessons, baby sign classes or whatever it is you and your little one want to try, you can find all your local children’s activities on the Club Hub app.

If you run/teach a children’s club or activity and want to spread the word, Club Hub is a great way to do so. You can advertise your business somewhere that is directly aimed at your target audience – parent’s looking for groups. A poster in the local library is great as is the power of word of mouth but it can only get you so far. By uploading your group to Club Hub, your club will be seen by lots of people who, potentially, would never have known your group existed. After all, Club Hub founder Tessa Robinson came up with the idea when she wanted to spread the word of her own musical theatre after school classes to parents in her local area.

So if you are new to an area (like me!) and want to find out what’s going on where you live or if you have a child pestering you about starting Judo classes/joining a tennis club or whatever then it really is worth downloading Club Hub once it’s released in July.

Did I mention the app is completely FREE and available for both iPhone and Android smartphones?

If you like the sound of Club Hub and want to find out more you can check out their website here. Also make sure to follow Club Hub on TwitterΒ , Facebook and Instagram for more details and so you don’t miss the big launch date.

Do you like the sound of this app? Will you be downloading the app once it’s released? If you know someone who runs a group maybe it would be worth telling them all about it too. I for one can’t wait to get it and to discover all the activities going on in our little town. Let me know your thoughts, I would love to know what you think.

Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post. I was approached by Tessa on Twitter and I am simply helping to spread the word as I think Club Hub is an amazing idea.

Oh this is definitely an app that I would use! I love apps! But also its been hard trying to find activities to do with the baby now that I am back at work. There are so many mum and baby classes during the week but then nothing on the weekend….or maybe I haven’t been looking hard enough. : ) #ablogginggoodtime
