My monthly bucket list – July

Where did June go?!

I can’t believe it is July tomorrow, this year is flying by and before I know it we will be in August and my baby will be 2. June has been a wonderful month for me and my little family. You can read last month’s bucket list here.

Let’s see how I got on…

1. Exercise more  – this kind of happened. I only did the 5 minute ab workout a grand total of 2 times. However, I did buy myself a hula hoop and I swam lots on holiday so that counts right?

2. Have a lovely holiday – Check! We had an absolutely amazing time in Majorca and you can find out all about it here.

3. Tart up the blog – Well this didn’t really happen. I changed the background but I’m finding it difficult to do anything more as I don’t have a laptop.

4. Take Leo to a Zoo – Nope.  We took him on holiday though so..

5. Make banana bread  – Me and Leo made this and it was amazing! If you fancy giving it a go here is the recipe.

6. Watch Psycho  – Watched it,  loved it and it freaked me out for days. Nice work Hitchcock.

Now on to this month’s list…

1. Get better at hula hooping.
So far I can do it for about 30 seconds. I have got a lot of work to do!

2. Tart up the blog.
I know it didn’t happen last month but you never know, maybe I’ll find a laptop somewhere.

3. Take Leo swimming.
Leo absolutely loved swimming on holiday but I haven’t taken him to our local pool in months. We have some serious splashing to do.

4. Get Leo’s hair cut.
Oh god, is there anything worse that taking your grumpy, wriggly toddler for a mop chop? Absolutely dreading taking Leo to the hairdresser but the poor boy can barely see.

5. Have a night out.
Something about the summer just makes me want to go out, get a bit merry and have a dance. The fact that I haven’t been out properly since February may also be a contributing factor here, hmml.

6. Have atleast 2 family days out.
I’m thinking a visit to a castle or a walk and picnic  somewhere new in the sunshine. Oli only has 2 days off a week and we usually do something in Swansea; I think we need to start going off places a bit more exciting some of the time, who knows what we could find.

I hope you all have a fantastic month. See you back here when it will be pretty much August, ahh!

I now feel the urge to buy a hula hoop! However it would probably collect dust like my poor treadmill is at the moment 😉
