The best things in life are free

I know it is a cliché and many would say it’s not true…but since having Leo I am really starting to believe that the best things in life really are free.

There are many days where I wish we had more money so we could do/buy lots of nice things as a family but then I think of all the great things in my life that don’t cost a penny and being a bit skint doesn’t seem so bad.

4. Long family walks

6. Hearing Leo say Mummy

7. Being in love

8. Dancing with Leo

9. Playing in the park

10. Collecting shells on the beach

11. Those conversations where me&Oli put the world to rights

12. Singing (badly!)

13.  Spontaneous  Leo cuddles

14. Those rare lie ins

15. Husband&wife time

16. Sunny afternoons in the garden

17. Watching Oli&Leo together

18. Writing

19. Picking flowers

20.  Storytime and cuddles

21. The way Leo says ‘wow’ over the smallest things

It is a cliché my friends because it is true.  If you’re ever feeling the financial strain and are a bit down, just think of everything you have that money can’t buy. Cherishing the little things has really helped me to become a much happier mum. Who wants their own house anyway?!
