I am a day late this week, oops! Last week was crazy busy and it was Leo’s second birthday on Saturday. We had an amazing day and Leo loved his minion themed birthday party (I am personally sick of the sight of the damn yellow things!).
As well as Leo turning 2, my father in law turned 65 yesterday and on Saturday we managed to cram in two parties: a minion party for Leo and an evening party with a hog roast for Oli’s Dad. It has been a very busy week with lots of driving but the weekend was amazing.
So much has got me smiling this week but here are my top 10 favourites…
1. Spending the day with nan.
2. Exploring rock pools down the beach with Leo.
3. Having a picnic in the gardren.
4. Leo playing on his water slide.
5. Leo saying ‘Hello Mate!’.
6. Potentional life changing news.
7. Briefly seeing my sister and niece on our trip down south.
8. Baking Leo’s birthday cake.
9. Seeing Leo’s little face light up opening his presents.
10. Drinking gin with my cousin/best friend who I rarely get to see.
